The Secret Life of Words
Bei einer Explosion auf einer Ölbohrinsel stirbt ein Arbeiter, ein zweiter, Josef, erleidet schwerste Verbrennungen und wird die Insel in naher Zukunft nicht verlassen können. Derweil wird auf dem Festland die überkorrekte Fabrikarbeiterin Hanna von ihrem Chef auf Zwangsurlaub geschickt. Doch des Nichtstuns ist die junge Frau unfähig. Sie reist ins regnerische Irland und hört, dass eine Krankenschwester auf der Ölbohrinsel gebraucht wird. So lernt sie Josef kennen, und die beiden kommen sich in ihrer Einsamkeit bald näher.
