The Real Blonde
Joe und Mary leben seit sechs Jahren zusammen in Manhattan. Joe ist ein erfolgloser Schauspieler ohne Agent, aber mit hohen Ambitionen. Er arbeitet als Kellner in einem Cafe. Mary ist die Make-Up-Stylistin des Modefotographen Blair und bezahlt die meisten Rechnungen für sich und Joe. Schließlich schraubt Joe seine Ansprüche etwas herunter und nimmt eine kleine Rolle in einem Madonna-Video an, während sein Freund und Kollege Bob zusammen mit Kelly einen gut bezahlten Job in einer Seifenoper bekommen.
