The Companion
Auf dem Höhepunkt der AIDS-Epidemie der 1980er Jahre bestraft der kubanische Boxchampion Horacio, weil er einen Drogentest nicht bestanden hat, den dreisten kämpfenden Daniel, einen Patienten in einem Sanatorium, in dem HIV-Patienten zwangsweise eingesperrt sind. Die beiden kollidieren, als Daniel sich nach Freiheit sehnt, während Horacio davon träumt, zum Ring zurückzukehren.
