Tales From The Lodge ist eine neue Version des Genres der Portmanteau-Horrorkomödie. Eine abgelegene Lodge irgendwo in England. Fünf alte Universitätsfreunde, mittlerweile 40, treffen sich für ein Wochenende, um die Asche ihres Freundes Jonesy zu zerstreuen, der sich vor drei Jahren im See ertränkt hat. Sie machen einen lustigen Abend und unterhalten sich mit Geschichten über Morde, Geister, Zombies und Besitztümer, aber als der Tag zur Nacht wird, wird die Bande auf eine weitere Horrorgeschichte aufmerksam, die sich um sie herum abspielt - und diese ist real.
