Sands of Iwo Jima
Am 19. Februar 1945 landen über 100.000 amerikanische Soldaten auf der japanischen Insel Iwo Jima. Es soll die entscheidende Schlacht des Krieges im Pazifik werden. Unter den Befehlshabern befindet sich Sergeant Stryker ein harter und unerbittlicher Kommandant, der seine Männer bereits im Trainingscamp an den Rand ihrer Kräfte treibt.
