Night and the City
Der kleine New Yorker Anwalt Harry Fabian wittert überall das große Geld, ist aber nie sonderlich erfolgreich. Um endlich ein Stück vom Kuchen abzubekommen, das ihm seiner Meinung nach schon lange zusteht, versucht er sich als Boxveranstalter. Doch der ewige Verlierer merkt erst viel zu spät, dass er es mit Gegnern aufgenommen hat, die ihm haushoch überlegen sind. Denn dabei kommt er dem mächtigen Gangster Boom Boom Grossman in die Quere.
