It Came from Beneath the Sea
Bei Atombomentests im Meer wurde eine Riesenkrake in einem Tiefseegraben radioaktiv verstrahlt und sucht sich nun an der Meeresoberfläche ihre Beute. Hierbei greift es das Atom-U-Boot von Commander Pete Mathews an, doch das U-Boot kann entkommen. Die beiden Wissenschaftler Prof. Lesley Joyce und Dr. John Carter identifizieren das Tier als gigantische Riesenkrake, doch die Navy steht der Theorie skeptisch gegenüber. Erst als sich weitere Angriffe ereignen wird zur Jagd geblasen. In San Francisco wird das Tier gestellt, nachdem es die Golden Gate Brücke zerstört und an Land für Verwüstungen gesorgt hat. Mit einem Spezialtorpedo soll das Seemonster zur strecke gebracht werden.
